A 12x12 timber frame with a shed roof, which slopes in one direction. The name comes from the roof style, and the frame can be used in many ways. Left open, it can stand as a small pavilion or a roof over an outdoor kitchen. With walls added by your builder, it can be a studio, a home office, a workshop, a guest bunkhouse, or the shell around a sauna. In a garden it can be a potting shed, and it works as plain storage too. The joints are mortise and tenon, held with oak pegs. The frame is CNC-cut from No. 1 Douglas fir and ships as a kit with the pegs and structural screws. Your builder handles the foundation, enclosure, and finish.
